Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Tea Ceremony, and Temple of Heaven

Get pumped up, becasue I just got done barganing price with some people at a cell phone shop that spoke no english over a USB cord. SO...that means pictures. Today was amazing!!! First things first...we hit up Tiananmen Square. Oh yeah, you know what picture is coming:

Thats right, TJ and I rocking the fist in front of the Red Gate in Tiananmen Square. If you look closely you can see Chairman Mao's picture in the back ground.

If you look closely at this next phot you can see TJ and I rocking out in front of his Mosaleum.

Oh, and they told us you're not supposed to take pictures with the "red army." TJ was pretty nervous about this next photo.

You can see TJ and our guide, Chuck. I don't think thats his real name.

Here is TJ in front of one of the Imperial Palaces of the Forbiden City.

TJ and I are kicking it on one of the small "storage palaces"

This is a picture of the kids I'm "chaperoning." It's definitley a term used loosely. [if you look closely you can find a couple of articles of "Joe Clothes".]

On the flight over TJ and I watched Karate Kid, so in front of this statue you can see the "crane form" he is perfecting.

So, after Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City we all went to a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. If you look closely at TJ's face, you can see how much he enjoyed it.

I somehow convienced him to drink every one of the teas they presented. He did really awesome at tasting them with me.

Even though there was some he really detested.

We then proceeded to the Temple of Heaven where we got down Taoist style at the top of the steps.

If you look closely you can see how intense our meditation was.

Oh, and once TJ meditated to a heightened level of Nirvana he was allowed to stand on the Heavenly Hard Stone. Its the sacred place where the Emperor would give his official report to Heaven.

Till tomorrow,

Boo Yao!!!

PS I updated yesterdays post with pictures.
