Shanghai Knights
So, today we left Xi'an for the metropolitan city of Shanghai. We took a short 2hr flight and then got to ride a bullet train that took 8 minutes to go about 20 miles. I just got back form a short walk around downtown Shanghai. It was absolutely wonderful. This city is so vibrant an night. There is a wonderful district right by our hotel where people live above all the shops. It was so cool to walk around and be the only American. The Chinese people love me. There was this little kide playing with a basketball and I started playing with him. He was laughing so hard and his parents were so happy. I kept spinning the ball on a finger and making lound grunts and whistles. He was grinnig so big. His parents spoke no English and when I started calling him Yao Ming his parents went crazy. It was so fun. Well here is the picture update.
At the Xi'an airport, there was a bench especially for me:

Then, with no breakfast in our tummies, TJ and I stumbled upon a KFC...it was so freaking delicious after nothing but Chinese for breakfast lunch and dinner...

Then we road the bullet train at a speed of 430km/hr:

You can see how fast we were going in this next photo by TJ:

We then went to the biggest building in China, and the third largest building in the world. Sara would have peed in her pants.

Which has a Hyatt Regency Hotel on the 55th floor. This is looking down into the lobby.

Since it's the year of the pig, and TJ's a pig, he decided to hug a giant golden one for good luck:

We then decided that something special from both of us needed to travel the 88 floors to the bottom, so we make a toilet...
Then we road this chinese boat down the Huang Pu river through the middle of Shanghai.

And TJ and I drank some beers...JUST KIDDING!!! [I made him hold one of mine for the picute]

Oh, and here is another Chinese person who wanted to take a picture with me. This seems to be a reaccuring theme.
Here I am at the front of the boat jamming some Marley. It was such a great time. Just floating along in Shanghai jammin' and drinking some cold beers.

Till tomorrow,
Boo Yao
